Nearly over ...

My annual leave is nearly done.  And a round up.

I have eaten pretty well; though I haven't lost any weight so still need to do some tightening.

I have definitely increased my exercise; though aside from golf only running at this stage.  A short run in my barefoots tomorrow and a core workout to get my cross training on the go too.

I read - a runner needs a strong butt to maintain form.  My butt is the only place I get the occasional niggle so I am going to strengthen it.

I have eaten well today. I have forgotten how much effort that can take. But success today.  Yeah!

I have also had some movement on the professional front so looking forward to going back to work.

Annual leave

I have two weeks off - to revitalize, recharge, refocus and declutter. Some of these I need a lot of, some a little.

Let me tell you a story.  Last time I had a week off; the wheels completely fell off.  I had no plan, no plans.  And I sat and ate and sat and ate. And that week had set the tone for the following 6 months.

This break, I have a plan.  Start each day with a run.  Break each day into 3 sections, and to work through each to focus on my eating patterns and to remove the all-or-nothing attitude that had dominated of late.

And to find my house again.  My lazy habits have taken over the place and there is not a flat surface to be seen.  He he he.

So.  I shall check in with my progress.  I may even find my smile and optimism.  ;-)

No chocolate

Surely.  Surely. I can go one whole day without chocolate.

It had become my crutch.  Again.

Now, now, Chloe.  Today is no chocolate day.

Go to it.
