Plan for the week.

So am going no where - just treading water. Therefore, I need a plan for the week.

Sunday - work; some golf practice or a walk.

Monday - intervals.

Tuesday - work; leg workout.

Wednesday - golf; no pastry or cake.

Thursday - work; it'll be odd hours - 9-530, so probably won't fit anything in.  I'll try and go for a walk at least.

Friday - work; core workout.

Saturday - long run.

I really want to be doing at least 20km a week.

And I am going to post instead of eat when I am bored, lonely or upset (all my usual triggers).

Bring on my week.

Hmmm ...

It is difficult to stay focused on health, well being and exercise when you are a shift worker.

I know it is possible - I've been doing it solidly for 20 months but it is difficult when you are sliding from morning and afternoon shifts and especially when you have a run of night shifts.

But, I shall keep moving forward. Maintain my focus and the momentum shall gather.

It is already easier as the days lengthen. I went for a late afternoon run yesterday - didn't get back home until  630 pm and it was still light.  Woo hoo.  No more hibernating with this spring weather on the way.

So, a quick round up. Too much chocolate this week.   Definitely a bad habit creeping back in there.  2 runs and a game of golf.  Hmmm .... More exercise required.

Bring on the last week of winter.

Sunday reflect

So, my week had been typical rather than inspired.
Pretty good exercise-wise.
Pretty ordinary food-wise.
And very ordinary with emotion-wise.
I have loved my runs and strength workouts.  Even tried a new route (very unusual for me). It was more of a trail run and gorgeous. See pic.  Time will tell if I do it again.
But, as usual my eating and mindless eating have let me down.  Am not expecting any movement on the scales
Let's get focused.  And being on 71.

The story so far ....

So last year, something clicked in January and I signed up for MB 12wbt and stuck with it for 12 months and lost 28kg. Became a runner. And was nearly fitting into size 12s. One happy camper.

And then I got lazy.

I put on 8kg. Exercise less often.  Eat terribly. And have lost my focus on my mind set.

So, here is my commitment to myself:
- eat clean
- exercise daily
- find my healthy weight range (hence the name of my blog)
- maintain reflections on my mind set

I have a few races coming up, so I am hoping that will assist with maintaining focus.  Starting with Dunkeld in October.

Ready, set, go ...
